Acquiring Software-Intensive Systems - Best Practices
2 Day, 7 hour Virtual Class
Class Overview:
Acquiring software-intensive systems is an inherently risky proposition. This course is designed to give contracting officers and program managers practical assistance in selecting the vendor with the highest probability of delivering the targeted system on time and on budget.
This 2-day, 7 hour virtual course will cover the acquisition best practices of developing functional size baselines, modeling a vendor's development process and making a risk based selection. It will include an overview of the latest trends in acquisition process maturity. Attendees will be given check lists that they can put to use immediately in their solicitations.
As a follow-up to the class, attendees can also sign up for up to 2 free hours of bid assessment or acquisition support by an experienced analyst ($300 value).
Please also note that we offer this class on-site at your location with an extended and customized list of topics.
